Unveiled

I never pictured myself in a veil on my wedding day until I started trying on wedding gowns. In the salon, the salesperson often suggests trying a veil to “complete the look.” It really is a lovely addition. This bride looks ethereal with hers! There’s something very classic about it, and it can really enhance a simple dress (which is what I tend to gravitate towards). But I’m sure it can also get in the way. And if you lose it for the reception, what’s the point of buying one anyway?

I’m still not sure if a veil will end up being part of my final look, but it’s certainly in my mind. Any suggestions from people who went with a veil? People who decided against it?
