I also adore the birdcage, but I tried one on in a bridal boutique with my dress & it just did not work. I was so disappointed!
Oh no! I love the birdcage look, and for some reason I assumed it would look good on everyone. Curious to try it myself now. Also agreed about the shoes–I love that brides are going for color now!
I did, too! I just couldn’t fit it to where I was happy with it, which KILLS ME since it is SO FRIGGIN CUTE. Then again, I have a very round face, & all the gorgeous pictures are girls with much more narrow faces. Or so I’m telling myself.
I wanted deep blue shoes for my “something blue”. Found a GORGEOUS pair with what looked like a brooch on each toe. Loved. Alas, my dress is not white, but more of a cream, and the colors wouldn’t mesh. Love the color pop, though.
